Ceramic restosations or porcelain resotorations are a generalized term used to restore teeth using ceramic materials such as zirconia, alumina and similar materials. These type of restorations need to be fabricted in certified labratories and then placed on to teeth using dental cements.
It usually takes two visits to complete the treatment. During the first visit, we prepare the tooth, take impression of the tooth and then provisionlize/temporize the tooth. At the second visit, the ceramic restoration will get cemented on the tooth.
Inlays, Onlays, Ceramic Crowns are some examples of these type of restorations. They are very natrural looking and we have the option of choosing varieties of colors/shades to match your own existing teeth color. |
